Hi, This May Sound Like A Rather Silly Question But

Hi, this may sound like a rather silly question but I was wondering if smoking a) weed through a bong and b) an electronic cigarette would worsen tonsilitis (considering that I just finished my anti biotic course and my tonsils are no longer red and inflamed or have any signs of puss). So basically can I smoke and not go into a really bad fit of tonsilitis again? Only had it once in my life and the recent week was the first time. Thank you for reading this and replying if you do :)
