Hi, When I Had An Echo When I Was Pregnant

Hi, when I had an echo when I was pregnant with my daughter, they could only find 1 kidney. The doc said I should have another echo after she is born to make sure if the second kidney is present. My daughter is 4 years old now and very healthy. But never had another echo coz I'm too scared to find out the result. I read that u can have a complete normal life with1 kidney. Thank you.
