Hi, When I Last Went To The Doctor. I Talked

Hi, when I last went to the doctor. I talked with her about the sudden stabbing I feel on the side of my lungs. We took x-rays and nothing showed up, she said that it was just my nerves. However I am still having the random sudden pain. I am not sure what it is and it makes life hard when it happens. What might be causing it?
