Hi.. Yesterday I Had My Car Running And Connected Jumper

Hi.. yesterday i had my car running and connected jumper leads to lawn mower. Started lawn mower so both were running then i went to take the positive lead (red one) off the car battery and because the rubber on the lead connection had came off it was just metal when i went to grab it it shocked me and threw me back.. now 24hrs later i have a very sore hand arm and shoulder and my chest is also a little sore.
