HiI Am 65 Years Young. Have Not Had Eye Care

HiI am 65 years young. Have not had eye care in over three years. Last doctor visit was not right. Glasses were made and remade but could not correct my vision. That doctor said I had early case of cataracts. Today I noticed the vision in the right eye is really bad. When I cover the left eye there is a spiral look to every thing I see out of the right eye. Is this cause of the cateracts or could there be something else wrong? Thank you,
