Hi.My Period Start At 19th Of August,stoped At 26 Until

Hi.My period start at 19th of august,stoped at 26 until 31 then start again and still is.is not the first time when that happen but didnt happened in the last 2-3 years,i am 40 years old and 2 ovarian chist operations in past.i got primolut nor 5mg.should i take more then 2 pills per day?should i take more then 5 days?last time when happened i've been for a check up and the doctor said is nothing wrong..apart from having 3 weeks period.thank you
