Hi.i Noticed Brownish Discharge 2 Days Ago My Period Is

Hi.i noticed brownish discharge 2 days ago my period is due the 19th of september so i figured it was coming early..im feeling super bloated and crampy..also took a test cause i have 2 kids of my own and said negative..is this from my period or could the test be wrong. this has never happened ever before so just curious..been with the same man for 8 years aswell.
