Hii...I Got Married In November 2015...On Jan 1st 2016, I

Hii...I got married in November 2015...On Jan 1st 2016, I had to take an emergency contraceptive pill...I got my periods on 12th Jan but the flow is very very low...I consulted a doctor and she asked me to take folinal for 10 days and then take urine test and USG...I have two questions now...As I am having low flow, does it indicate that I am pregnant? And the second question is why did she prescribe me Folinal?
