Hii..I Have Been Getting Breakouts On My Face From Last

Hii..I have been getting breakouts on my face from last 2 months and it has left dark spots on my face..my mom was having severe hyperpigmentation which got cleared in 2 months by using melacare and she was asking me to use the same for my dark spots..im using it but the spots are becoming red but my mom is saying that it l first become red and then it starts reducing the spots...So should i continue using the melacare or should i shop ??
