Hi,im 50 Years Of Age And Have Gained Almost A

Hi,im 50 years of age and have gained almost a stone in weight in the last 6 months which despite dieting I can't lose. I have also an eye test recently and have been referred to a specialist for suspected glaucoma. I have developed a bitter taste in my mouth - could the recent onset of these three things be connected?
