Hi...my Daughter Had Foot Surgery Last Wednesday And Is In

Hi...my daughter had foot surgery last Wednesday and is in a cast. All was going well until tonight I noticed one of her toes looked black and blue. I pulled her cast away alittle and noticed that the top of her foot has bruising too. Is this normal? I don't recall her doctor mentioning there could be bruising.
