Hi,my Dr. Prescribed Back To Back Birth Control Pills For

Hi,my dr. Prescribed back to back birth control pills for me as we are going on holiday so I wouldn't start my period. Two days before the end of the first pack I started my period. I kept taking my birth control as directed by my dr. I am currently on day 4 of my period and day 2 of my second package of birth control pills. Will my period be done in 4 days? Is there anything I can do to stop it, ie.... Double up on my birth control pills? Thanks
