Hi.my Father Had His Last Epilepsy Attack In 1999 Since

Hi.my father Had his last epilepsy attack in 1999 since then he was on eptoin 100 mg X email tab at night. Until late Oct 2016 he didn't had any case of seizures in the last 17 years but In Oct 2016 he had a severe seizures. The new doctor at the hospital advised him to change to levipil 750 X 1 breakfast and dinner along with epitoin 100 mg X breakfast and dinner

He also said within 6 months epitoin will be stopped

Please advice is it the correct advice
