Hi..my Father Is 92 And Has Been On 100mg Of

Hi..my father is 92 and has been on 100mg of allupironal for gout. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and was put on 40mg of lasixs a day. He is having frequent severe gout attacks which the dr. gives him a shot of anti inflammatory and prendisone for a week and the gout comes right back before he finishes the medicine. I read lasixs activates gout. what to do next?? My father is in terrible pain.
