Hi,our Daughter Is Going Thru A Very Nasty Divorce ,she

Hi,our daughter is going thru a very nasty divorce ,she is very depressed and has fits of crying,laughing.she also has slurred speech and is unsteady at times.I know it's not alcohol or drugs I have removed everything from her house,will depression affect a person like this?she is 43yrs old.
