Hi...so My Dad Has Been Diagnosed With Sarcoidosis Basically Because

Hi...so my dad has been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis basically because they cannot find anything else to call it. He's an atypical case in that he is 85 y/o. He became symptomatic August 2015. He is on prednisone which is being tapered down, and the current dose is 12.5 mg. He developed prednisone related diabetes and is currently on 10 units of Lantus. He is experiencing periodic episodes of night fevers (tympanic readings of 101-103), night sweets, confusion, and vomiting (which is likely blood as it's black and tarry). I told him he needs to go yo the E/D but he is refusing as he despises hospitals. He did keep 650mg of acetaminophen down, and has gone back to sleep. He is being monitored by another family member. A visiting RN is suppose to come and see him in the morning.

Just curious to what your thoughts are...and if I might be missing anything??
