History Of Colitis Since Very Young. Now @ 63, Had

History of Colitis since very young. Now @ 63, had long bout w cold symptoms. Took Klavox for 10 days. Seemingly aggravayed my colitis resulting w totally inflamed colon - admitted to hospital - after colonoscopy was put on prednisole for 8 days. Diarrhea diminished but still ever present. Initially for 5-6 days stools were red like tomato juice. Still blood in stools. Have appetite & feel ok most of the time. Bouts w nausea. GI Doc was surprised cortisone drip didn't cure me. Thinking of switching to remicade - maybe tomorrow. Any ideas? Did klavox kill all the good bacteria? is it still in my system? Still @ hospital. Help! Thank you.
