History of chronic sinusitis(since 2009)Symptoms worsening ie,eye,nose,ear aches and pains along with occasional pain/throbbing pain in the head when sinuses at its worse, blocked nose daily to various degrees,at worse affecting sleep also and are happening more regularly and lasting for longer.At its worse affecting my lifestyle quite heavily.Over the years have tried all types of nasal sprays,antihistamines,and have had two(2)courses of antibiotics,recently just finished a course. Just got results of a ct scan of my sinuses back.Report reads There is mucosal thickening as well as numerous mucous retention cysts involving the paranasal sinuses.No bony thickening no aggressive bony changes no nasal polyp or mass with nasal septum essentially midline. With my long history and my worsening symptoms is it time (I have asked doctors in the past)do you think for surgical intervention.Bill 47yrs old 183cm 106kg Caucasian,take 1 x 300mg Avapro for blood pressure daily 1 x lorstat 20mg daily for chloresteral 1 x 40mg somac for chronic gastritis.
