Hit My Head On The Edge Of The Big Dumpster

Hit my head on the edge of the big dumpster trash can. I didn't pass out get dizzy not do I have a headache. I can tell there is a bump underneath. It is very sore. But now I feel a small burning sensation. Just a little bit above the spot where the bump is. I just wanted make sure if this is normal or should I go to the doctor right way. Don't wanted a blood clot. Thanks
