Hi,yes My Mother Is 67 Years Old And Is Suffering

Hi,yes my mother is 67 years old and is suffering from fecal incontinence diagnosed by her obgyn doctor. She has done physical therapy for this. It has helped somewhat. She has had burning outside of her rectum for past two days and getting worse. She has used vaseline, witch hazel pads, triple paste ointment, butt paste. She is having no bleeding after wiping. What do you suggest she use? She is going to make an appointment with a gastroenterologist per my suggestion. Thank you for any advisement.
