How Can A Keloid Be Removed And Its Recurrence Avoided?

hi,i m shrishti. i had a keloid about one inch long just below my neck,bt i got it removed through injection procedure but the scar is left and i feel lack of confidence because of that.can this scar be removed by any means.And can it develop again..what care should be taken during pregnancy to avoid keloid formation....plz reply..i'll be very grateful
