How Can A Neck Sore, Sore Tonsil And Ear Inflammation Be Treated?

I ve had like a sore/sensitive adam s apple (that area) with a sore tonsil and some inflammation around my ear, I been smoking now for about 3 months and now i quit because of it...would that have been the problem? It s been one day now and it still hasn t gone away.
