How Can Dark Areas On The Leg And Neck Be Treated?

my daughter has a large dark area on the back of both legs around the knee area and a large dark area on both sides of her neck that appeared at the same time from no where and she has not been in the sun age 24 height 5'6 about 125 lbs has no known health problems
