How Can Emotional Nausea, Sickness With Dry Heaving Be Treated?

my daughter is experiencing emotional nausa after a bad breaup. She is very sick with dry heaving in the morning especially. She is a grad student and it is affecting her studies. What can I get to help her fell better? she feels like vomiting would help, but can't do so.
