How Can Erythema Nodosum's Residual Dark Discoloration Be Treated?

Hi, I suffer with Erythema Nodosum and I am looking for ways to quickly remove the dark discoloration that it left behind. I would really like to vacation in the Caribbean in July and would prefer to wear shorts without being embarassed. What are my options?
