How Can Facial Patches With Itching And Hair Fall Be Treated?

I have some light patches on my face and some other parts of my body. It sometime appear to itch a little. I noticed that the light patches are also in some parts of my head. However, my hair is falling in the area that has the light patches. I have gone to the Dr., but I only receive creams that doesn't help. what can I do?
