How Can Foreskin Tear Causing A Sore During Intercourse Be Treated?

I have and uncircumcised penis and when I get erect and have sexual intercorse my foreskin occasionally stretches and rips creating a open soar, which is normally small but painful ... how can I prevent this from happening? Or is there anything I can do to reduce the time of healing?
