How Can Genital Area Skin Rawness And Peeling Be Treated?

Ok, so me and my girlfriend were.. "fooling around" and we accidentally used this body soap in stead of lotion, and now my lower parts are very raw and leathery and look like the skin is peeling off, is this just an alergic reaction or something more serious? And what should i do about it?
