How Can Grand Mal Seizures Be Treated?

my 32 year old daughter suffers from gran mal seizures and has since age of 14. in September of 2016, she had a seizure in which she fell flat face first on concrete floor but at last second before making contact she turned her head just slightly to the right landing on her chest and left side of face. the majority of her teeth were broken as well as extreme swelling of left cheekbone and around her eye. she is ok now and sees a seizure specialist but since this fall she has a bruised feeling in her throat and difficulty swallowing. no doctor has offered any possible explanations. do you have an idea/
