How Can Head Lice With Sores And Knotted Hair Be Treated?

my daughter has head lice very bad. i have tried everything and nothing seems to work> she has knots all through her hair and it is tangled very bad she has sores all through her head how do i get tthe knots out and what is the best thing to use to get the lice out
