How Can I Wean Off Effexor And Start Cipralex Safely?

I am currently on 225 mg of effexor xr and feeling horrible side effects and want to switch back to cipralex. My psychiatrist wont change my meds and not even listen to me regarding the major side effects i have on effexor. How can i wean off of effexor and start cipralex safely? I have been on cipralex before and it worked well for me.
