How Can Itchy Pimples On The Penis Shaft Be Treated?

Hi, I got small pimples on the shaft of my penis. I pop them and a clear liquid comes out. I work out alot. I went to my GP and she said to try clotrimazole-betamethasobe crm. These pimples dont hurt, a little itchy but thats it. I have no other symptoms. Thoughts?
