How Can Nasal Congestion, Fever And Vomiting In A Child Be Treated?

My daughter frequently gets a stuffy nose, some times with a day or two of low grade fever and vommitting, which could possibly be from her coughing so hard. She is 7 years old. Allergies do run in my family heavily, but the fever sometimes has me concerned it could be something else. we do have cats and dogs but we always have so i am unsure what to make of thisa
