How Can Ovarian Inflammation Causing An Infection Be Treated?

hey. im living in london, had a miscarriage six months back, cam edown with an infection was prescribed augmentin and flagyl. since then have had pelvic pain, the doc did an ultrasound and said my ovaries are inflamed. is that an infection? what medicine wouldyou recommend?
