How Can Progesterone Be Increased And Hair Regrown?

I have been told by my ob/gyn that I am estrogen dominant after he removed 2 cervical polyps. I asked about progesterone, but he said it was not a good idea because side effects are dangerous. I am losing a lot of hair and am thinking this is the reason why. What should I do to increase my progesterone and regrow my hair?
