How Can Redness, Swelling And Spots On Face Be Treated?

I fell on my face 5yrs ago and my skin was so swollen it was cracking,when the inflamation went down,I was left with this bright red spot on my forehead that wont go away,PLEASE HELP.How do i get rid of it.All the coverage in the world doesnt help,and in summer it stands out like a sore thumb,Is there anyway to get rid of it once and for all,besides lazer
