How Can The Implanon Be Checked If It Is Placed Correctly?

I've just got implanon but i didnt see the process because i'm scare of needles, i turned around but i heard something happened, i'm worry about the implant getting out before and they put me that one any way, what could happen if it was the case? or how can i check everything is ok and i just have a wrong idea??
