How Can Throat Irritation With Burning Sensations Be Treated?

well I was eating a popsicle.The long skinny one that comes in the clear plastic, and a chunk of it broke off and shot straight down my throat fast and i felt it burn so i tried to cough it up but now my throat is so irritated that i cant even drink or else it will burn !!!!
