How Can You Tell If Someone Has Neuropathy Or Fibermalgia?

How can you tell if someone has neuropathy or fibermalgia? My legs have hurt since in my 30s at the end of the day and hard to walk after I sit down. I am 62 now and now the pain is all day with trouble sleeping. Just in the last week my toes burn and hurt. The pain comes and goes. Cannot take ibiprophen cause i take elequis (afib) Had blood work in FEb..so dont think it is diabetes.
