How Dangerous Is A Benign Brain Tumor?

I have small benign tumor which I got radiation 6 month ago but the swelling keep coming back. Now the Dr think it's not the swelling, the tumor seem to move from the front of the brain to middle and he said they may need to operate what's your opinion on this and how dangerous is it?
