How Do I Cure The Scabs On My Scalp ?

I have these scabs all over my head and yes I pick at them so then I have this dandruff looking scabs all in my hair! I just want something to get rid of the scabs. When I am not doing anything an sitting at home alone I just pick pick pick which leaves sores and red spots all over. Its behind my ears mostly and neckline.
