How Do I Help My Brother, When People Knock On

How do I help my brother, when people knock on my mom's door he go hide in the bathroom, he has not been outside in 5 months, he does not shave or drive his cars anymore. He will not talk to my mom he just point. What do we do. I just want my big brother back.
