How Does Lutenyl Increase The Chances Of Pregnancy While Managing A Benign Ovarian Cyst After An Ectopic Pregnancy And Left Tube Removal?

Hi, I had an ectopic pregnancy end of July, and my left tube was removed. I know have a 4cm cist on my right ovary, after ovulation it did not disappear by itself, bloods have been runned and the cist is benign. The doctor prescribed lutenyl for a month to control if the cist goes away or stays the same. I am really want to get pregnant but the information is so vague. I would like to understand more on how does the litenyl work as an anticonceptive and how should we proceed on getting pregnant. I have been taking lutenyl for 10 days, i missed my period for 3 days but the home pregnancy test is negative
