How Does Alcohol Consumption React After Taking Corticosteroid Injection?

I had an epidural corticosteroid injection at my L4-L5.I'm also a type 1 diabetic, but with an A1C of 5.8 the benefits far outweighed the few days of high BG. The day I had the procedure done I consumed several (2) glasses of wine; I was neither told nor was given instructions that alcohol consumption may cause any ill affects. My mind is a bit blurry, but two glasses of wine (most likely a half a bottle of Merlot) have never affected my judgement or what not. Do you (ya'll) believe there may have been a reaction? I was told not to drive home, but that was the just of it. Thank you so much. 33 year old male, 200 lbs, 5'7", BG rose to 450 mg/dL.
