How Does Cold Weather Lead To Fatigue,heart Burn And Raised Heart Rate?

i gone out into the cold around 28degrees. About 1 hour. When I came back inside, within 10 minutes I had a fast heart rate that is lasting over 1 hour 45 minutes. I'm feeling better but very fatigue. I have have heartburn which is normal for me and I'm taking presaid daily for it. I also take thyroid meds for hypo and hormone. Question, Should I follow up with my normal doctor or go to the ER?
