How Does Kenalog Help In Curing Itching?

hi every year i go on holidays and suffer terrible prickly heat.last time i went i had an injection that cured it and took all the itching away. i think it was depot medrone or kenalog cant quite remember. would one of these names have been correct and if so how do they work. thanks
