How Does Taking Tobramycin For Lung Infection Cause Hoarseness Of Voice?

I was treated for a lung infection with the antiboitic tobramycin which i had to take through my nebulizer. After 28 treatments I lost my voice and since the 9th of Dec. it has not returned. Have you heard of this and do you think my voice is damaged permantley. The information list said this was one of the side effect
