How Does Taking Contraceptive Pill Help Reduce Facial And Body Hair?

im a 26 yr old female 5 ft 5 and 16 stone. i also have always suffered with excess hair on face and body( which is not weight related) i have been tested for pcos and hormone imbalances and was found to have neither. i want to start taking a contraceptive to prevent preganacy and i have heard that certain contraceptives can help with excess hair. would i be a suitable candidate? and what are these contraceptives.
