How Does Using Exelon Patch Affect The Blood Thickness?

My husband has a pacemaker and takes blood thinners. He has been told that he has lewybody dementia and was given samples of the exelon patch (4.6 mg/24 hours. Since he has been using this (2 weeks) his pro time/inr has been gone up and down. Does the exelon patch affect the thickness of the blood? Thank you, Carol
