How Is An Abdominal Surgery To Remove Fibroids, Done?

I have a couple of questions, I have surgery scheduled for Jan 22, I am having the procedure that goes thru the belly button. My first question is what kind of pain should I expect after the surgery? I have two large fibroids that will also be removed, is there a chance for weight loss? And last question is how might this affect sex?
